Dr. Sanda Langer is a naturopathic doctor (ND) and biological / functional medicine practitioner in Toronto. She is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) with a Bachelor of Arts in languages. Dr. Sanda is also a certified Bowen practitioner with extensive experience in sports medicine and pain management.
Dr. Sanda’s mission is to support, inspire and motivate people to achieve optimal levels of performance by restoring function through a naturopathic, biological and functional approach.
Dr. Sanda had developed an interest to treat pain and sports-related injuries before she became a naturopathic doctor, while treating her clients with Bowen therapy. Having been involved in competitive sports growing up, and still enjoying sports activities, she understands the mind of athletes and their desire to recover and heal as quickly as possible, and get back to their sport. She complemented that with a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and acupuncture, which now give her a very good understanding and practice of pain management and sports therapy.
In treating various patients with various concerns and chronic conditions, Sanda realized she could make an impact in people’s lives by helping them restore optimal health when combining her Functional Medicine training (Institute for Functional Medicine), Biological Medicine training (Marion Institute) with naturopathic medicine.
Dr. Sanda is also a strong believer in constant and never-ending improvement and knows that we can improve our lives and our health by implementing small, life-long habits to prevent dis-ease and dys-function.
